Hailey Banker is a recent graduate from the University of Colorado Boulder. She graduated in May of 2021 with a BA in Cinema Studies & Moving Image Arts as well as a minor in Media Production. She moved to Los Angeles in June 2023 with hopes to achieve a lasting and impactful career in the entertainment industry.

Throughout her time at CU Boulder as well as in high school, she has had experience creating videos, doing sound design, editing, lighting 3D animation, photography, and performance art. She is extremely proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud which includes Premiere Pro, Audition, After Effects, and Photoshop. She has also used Avid Media Composer and DaVinci Resolve to edit and create videos for her various production classes. She is also very proficient in Microsoft Office which includes Word, PowerPoint, and Excel. She has made many projects using Final Cut Pro and Cinema 4D, so she is very familiar with a wide variety of platforms for editing and creating content.

She has experience creating promotional videos for social media through her leadership position as the Videographer at CU Boulder Hillel, which is a Jewish organization on her college campus. She also has experience posting daily on their social media and producing graphics fit for Instagram through her role as the Marketing Creation & Distribution Manager, where she had a specific schedule to follow. She would work with other members of the Media & Marketing Teams on occasion for group collaboration.

 

During her time in the sorority Sigma Alpha Epsilon Pi, she held various leadership positions. She was the Historian chair, where she was responsible for keeping an accurate and up-to-date photographic record of each member in the organization. She used these photos to make physical scrapbooks using appropriate accessories such as stickers, letters, and pens to commemorate memories. She also made a shared Google Drive folder so all members would have digital copies. During her time as Retreat Chair, she was able to plan three events with very little assistance that encouraged members to get out of Boulder, Colorado for the day in order to encourage bonding. She planned two events in one semester on a very tight budget. She made Google Forms to keep track of member responses concerning dates, times, meals, and locations. She would also communicate with the rest of the chapter via email or GroupMe messaging. While she was Secretary, she would take minutes at weekly meetings and share them with all members, send out reminders about meetings and other events via email or GroupMe messaging, keep the calendar up-to-date with sorority events, holidays, and important university dates, track requirements & attendance for each member using the website Greek Capital Management, and work with other members of the executive board to handle chapter issues & keep the organization running smoothly.

When Hailey is not working or focusing on creative endeavors, she enjoys spending time with her friends and family, listening to music, creative writing, traveling, and creating videos or other projects. When she is given a set of tasks, she prioritizes them and works hard to complete them effectively. She is also able to get her message across using written and verbal communication. She can complete tasks independently and doesn't ask for assistance unless she absolutely needs it. She works well with others and ensures everyone in a team pulls their weight and does what is expected of them. She has a wide knowledge of music across many different genres and mainly listens to pop. She credits this to her father, who introduced her to The Beatles and other music from the 1960's at a very young age. Her family is one of her main priorities and is her biggest support system. She has a close relationship with her parents and sees them often at home in Denver, Colorado. She also has a dog and wants to get one for herself once she is stable in her career. She also adores traveling and wants to do more. She visited London and Amsterdam in 2024, but dreams of going to Paris as well as Australia and South Africa. She loves going anywhere Disney related as well as Hawaii, the Caribbean, Los Angeles, and Cincinnati to visit her family respectively.
